Even More Business Card Tips Part Two

Part one of this two part series featured some very important do’s and don’t’s of business card printing. Well, part two will feature even more do’s and don’t’s of business card printing. Hopefully these tips will help you prevent handing out an ugly or poorly constructed business card; which could mean the difference between success and getting laughed at by anyone that sees your card.

Do’s

Do check to make sure that everything printed on your business is correct and grammatically correct as well. The most embarrassing thing that can happen to someone is having over 100 business cards printed with someone else’s name on them or someone else’s address on them. Always double check the information provided to the printing company to make sure that it is your own information and not the wrong name or address.

Do have the business cards printed on halfway decent paper. Printing them on cheap paper screams that you don’t want to shell out a couple extra bucks to spruce up your business cards.

Do use some sort of logo or design on the business card to make it stand out from everyone else’s card.

Don’t put profane language or inappropriate pictures on your business cards. This will force people to throw away your business cards and never give you or your business a second thought.

Don’t throw away any of your old business cards; you never know when they might be of help when designing new cards somewhere down the line. Something you used in the past could be used again on future cards.
