Healthy and Professional: Sports Coach Business Card
Every college, high school and middle school these days has a sports team of some description. The number of corporate and non profit sports teams continues to increase. All this institutions employ professional coaches to manage and train their teams as appropriate. Because of the many interactions a sport’s coach has with players, parents and staff a professional business card is a must.
Reflect the sport you coach in your business card. If you coach soccer, have the background of your card be the soccer pitch. If you coach basketball, consider having the court as you background. If you teach people how to play golf consider having the golf course as your background design. The coach’s business card should invoke the specific sport as well as provide information.
The sport’s coach business card should give basic contact information for the coach, the school or organization associated with the coach as well as any website or online webpage that provides further information about the team and its schedule. If games are already decided for the season consider printing the times, dates and locations on the back of the business card.
A gloss finish works well on the coach’s business card, especially when handed out on the pitch. Depending on the type of coaching and the associated institution, the card should be full color with a gloss finish and magnetized for convenience. Foiling, raised printing and overly textured cards do not work for the sports coach business card. Make appropriate design choices that work well with your profession.
Distribute sport’s coach business cards to parents, players, fellow staff members and coaching colleagues. It’s a good idea to provide a few of your cards to the principal or president of your school or organization so they can pass them along to new students with an interest in athletics. The sport’s coach is an integral part of the modern education and health system. Professional business cards are necessary to reflect this position.
