More Business Card Tips

There are millions of different business cards floating around the world today and it is rare to find two that are exactly the same. Collecting business cards can also be a hobby along with being a useful business tool as well. This article will detail a variety of business card tips that can be put into use when designing and printing your business cards.

Tip number one is to never hand out a business card that has grammatical errors on it. Why? A business card is supposed to be a professional representation of you or your business. So, make sure you proofread your business card before you decide to give the go ahead on printing over 1,000 of them to hand out to your clients and prospective clients.

Tip number two is to never hand your business card to another person and then not ask for their business card in return. Why? This is one of the biggest no-no’s in business card ethics. Always ask for another person’s business card if they ask for yours. It is not only ethical but it is also proper and is a sign of respect.

Tip number three is to never throw out another person’s business card in front of them or before you leave the room. Hold onto that business card until you are completely out of sight or in a completely different zip code. If you throw out a person’s business card in front of them they will more than likely never call you or your company about the services you offer.
