Selling Homes in Tough Economies: Realtor Business Cards
The real estate business has gotten a little tougher lately all the more reason to have a business card that stands out and gets you the listing. A realtor should be confident, experienced and friendly. These traits should be reflected in the realtor’s business card.
It’s okay to be a little creative with the realtor business card as homeowners and home buyers are looking for someone with a little zing and zap to represent their interests. Just be sure not to go too far. However cute the background may look, it is important that the vital contact information doesn’t get lost in the design.
When it comes to clip art think house and home. There are a lot of very nice house clip arts available online so try being a little different. A house floor plan as a background clip art or a roof with a key make the art a little more focused. If you want to go with a house, think about the type of house you usually represent and combine that with your version of the ideal welcoming home. This will say a lot about your tastes and expertise to the client.
You can never go wrong with photographs on a realtor’s business card. If potential clients are shopping around for representation, they probably have a small stack of cards in their possession. If they start trying to remember who was the friendly experienced lady was whos name they can’t quite remember, the photograph may go a long way to sealing the deal.
A two sided card is an option for the professional realtor. Use the space for additional house listing websites, professional accreditations, associations and partner agencies. If the realtor is associated with more than one agency, the agency logos could go on this side so as not to show favor to any particular company. This also means the same card can be used for different company listings.
Colors should abide by the three color rule but it does no harm to evoke blue skies, sunny days and green lawns as you try to sell a sense of home. A number of online templates allow you to do just that.
Realtors are the gateway between hope and reality and their cards should exude confidence, brightness and determination.
