Variations of Business Cards
Business cards have been one of the best ways to market a business for quite a long time now but some businesses are using alternative methods to market their business instead of using the traditional business card. The types of variations include placing their information on mouse pads, pens, note pads, calendars, magnets, hats, shirts and much more.
As technology has expanded over the years so have the ways that businesses can market their contact information and the services that they offer to prospective clients. Not all businesses use the traditional business card as the only way to market their services. Now businesses and self-employed workers are using more than one of the methods mentioned above.
The problem with business cards is that people tend to throw them away or place them at the bottom of their desk drawer, never to be seen again. Your message won’t get out this way. So, businesses have taken a more proactive approach to marketing their services by altering the traditional business card.
Many business card printing companies offer these alternative methods of printing a company’s information on various products. Why do companies use these alternative methods? Prospective clients that are handed a magnetic calendar they will more than likely put that calendar somewhere noticeable; their refrigerator. The information will be noticed by anyone that goes near the fridge, unlike a traditional business card.
Also, everyone could use another pen in their collection. The information of the company is posted on pens, which is visible to anyone using it. The mouse pad has the same effect. People working with computers always need mouse pads, that’s why a lot of businesses put their information on mouse pads and distribute them to current and prospective clients.
If you order business cards from a company, they will more than likely offer to print the same information and same design on other products such as mouse pads, notepads, pens, magnets, calendars and much more. A business card doesn’t literally have to be a card; it can be anything that has your business’ information on it.
