Where to Hand Out Business Cards
Do you own your own business? Do you work for a company but want to get your name out to the public for another job? Do you need to bring in more clients? Everyone, especially in this tough economy, needs to find more customers for their business. This means that you need to find the best way to get your business card out to the public. Hopefully the following tips will provide some help.
First, give your business card to family members and friends so they can distribute it to their coworkers and friends. Don’t do this is it is a conflict of interest for your family or friends at their place of employment though.
Second, distribute your business card at local supermarkets. Supermarkets usually have public bulletin boards where customers can place information about houses for sale, products for sale, and other information such as business cards. Request to have your business card placed on the bulletin board at the customer service desk.
Third, hand out your business card whenever and wherever you are at the moment in time. Carry your business cards with you at all times in case you run into an old friend or acquaintance and you can hand them your card. Also, even if you are walking around the mall, hand out your business card to other customers in the mall. Don’t do this in stores because you will more than likely get kicked out of the store. Do it in the mall itself…in the hallways.
Hopefully these tips will help you pull in some more customers for your business or get your name out there and possibly a job interview with another company.
